Description
"Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind, Memories, sweetened through the ages just like wine ...Laughing eyes and simple ways And quiet nights and gentle days with you. Memories, memories, sweet memories." ~ "Memories," recorded by the great Elvis Presley, 1968. Geiger's Covered Bridge evokes sweet nostalgia on a summer morning in North Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. The bridge is a 112-foot long Burr Truss bridge, constructed in 1860. It has vertical plank siding and an entry portal of steeped square planks. It crosses the Jordan Creek and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The bridge can be accessed from The Covered Bridge Trail at the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, Pennsylvania.

Thanks so much Aurelio! It's such a peaceful and beautiful spot, and I had it all to myself for photos (well, except for the butterflies):) I could have stayed there all day!
