Description
"I wished on the moon for something I never knew, wished on the moon for more than I ever knew. A sweeter rose, a softer sky on April days that would not dance by...it all came true, I wished on the moon for you." ~ "I Wished On The Moon" ~ composed by Ralph Raigner, lyrics by Dorothy Parker, 1935, recorded by Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and other stars. The full moon rises in splendor over Cedar Creek Parkway, Allentown, Pennsylvania the evening of April 4, 2015. Early that morning there was a total lunar eclipse, often called a blood moon.

Tami, this is a gorgeous and stunning capture of the moon, with a wonderful description. (I so much enjoy your quotations and detailed descriptions.) I must listen to the song by Ralph Raigner and Dorothy Parker. The color of the moon is so very appealing against the black sky. l.f.g+
