What a peaceful shot ! I love the peace and serenity of winter, don't you ? Here in the Colorado Rockies at about 9000 feet above sea level where many people live, the coming of winter is anything but softly. It comes with a bang. We usually get our first snow storm of the season sometime around the end of September or the beginning of October. It continuers to snow off n' on for about 8 months until May of the following year. On very rare occasions, we've even had small amounts of snow in early summer believe it or not.
