Description
Sweet white-tailed deer doe nurses her fawn, now a button buck, on an October evening in the park. Of all the deer photos I've snapped, this is the first time I witnessed nursing. I've been blessed to photograph this doe and her fawns for the past two and a half years, and it's a real joy to me personally and as a photographer.

What a sweet capture! Amazing you were able to get so close! LF
Tami Quigley replied:
Thanks so much Mary, much appreciated! I've been photographing this doe for two and a half years, so I'm blessed she trusts me to get so close. I think her fawn was hungry and didn't seem fazed by me or my camera:)

Tami Quigley replied:
Thanks so much, very appreciated Chris! I was taking photos and then the fawn looked at the doe, she followed him across the path and began nursing! I guess I'm around them so much taking photos they didn't care I was there:)
