Description
"Life is like a butterfly, you can chase it, or you can let it come to you." ~ Ruth Brown. Though he has an intent gaze and orange and black coloring, this is not a tiger, but an Eastern Comma Butterfly. This beautiful papillon pauses at Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, on a summer evening before once again taking flight.

Fabulous macro, Tami. Seems like an other worldly creature in your capture! LF
Tami Quigley replied:
Thanks so much Mary! It looked like a normal butterfly but when I saw that eye I thought it looked a little other worldly too!:)

What a cool unique " mug " on the Papillon. Excellent close up work,Tami ! Big Like /Vote ~ It gives a glimpse into God's limitless creative mind and gives us some revelation of it. It leaves me awestruck how He created the multitude of utterly beautiful, colorful and sometimes unusual creatures in nature, both land and sea.
Tami Quigley replied:
Thanks so very much Rick for your wonderful comment! I completely agree, it is indeed amazing all the creatures God has created, quite a variety too!
