Description
“All too soon we had to part
The moment you had touched my heart
And with you went my dream
All too soon …
You should know as well as I
Our love deserves another try
For you whispered goodbye
All too soon
Too soon”
~ “All Too Soon”
~ 1940 song composed by Duke Ellington, lyrics by Carl Sigman,
recorded by other artists including Ella Fitzgerald
After rare warm February temperatures, this daffodil bloomed all too soon at Trexler Memorial Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania, then whispers goodbye as it wilts all too soon after a March snowfall.
Daffodil, Jonquil, Narcissus … whatever name you choose, it’s beauty is gone all too soon a few about a week before spring is set to bloom.

Lovely and sad at the same time! My daffodils don't try to bloom until mid to late May and even they some times get frosted. l/f/g+/t/p
